The main EVM Assessment Tool is a Microsoft Windows based application used to describe the supply chain structure and generate appropriate EVM questionnaires (Excel workbooks) for each of the facilities assessed. The tool is also used to collate and analyze the data from the questionnaires. It generates performance indicators and criteria scores for individual facilities, for each level of the supply chain, and for the entire supply chain.

The EVM Site Selection Tool is an Excel-based tool used to conduct the site selection process in a standardized way to ensure that the assessment results within and across countries can be interpreted and compared in a consistent way.

The EVM Assistant Tool is an Excel tool used to collect and process the numerical data required for scoring certain EVM indicators in a standardized way, so as to ensure that assessors score in a consistent manner.

The EVM Analysis & Recommendations Tool is an Excel tool to be used by lead assessors to identify weak indicators, to draft a comprehensive list of recommendations, and to see the potential impact of those recommendations on the EVM Criterion scores. The user-guide is contained within the tool.
